Got to confess it took me a while to figure out that those were words, what a terrible font to pick, but i guess it adds to the difficulty
Yeah, that perfect performance, whatever it is, is /waaaaaaaaay/ too hard to get right now. Beyond that, fun game, cute art, funny concept. Could even introduce targets that you shouldn't taunt, because either they're carnival workers that would get genuinely annoyed and complain, or someone with like a ballgag or something that could just shut you up for taunting them. Good stuff!
And then literally the next try I get that 'perfect win' screen... and I have no idea how I got it. I had half the score I did on my longest attempt, and filled up the pleasure gauge kinda fast. So I'm not even sure what the trigger is lmao.
Thanks for playing! I don't want to spoil the mechanic for the perfect ending CG but it has 2 main requirements, and you need to get a 'good' ending by filling the pleasure gauge once those requirements are met. There is a visual indicator on the character model once the perfect ending is achievable.
I'm looking to do an update with more UI and stuff that helps indicate when game over occurs and other things once the rating period is over. Those ideas for different targets could be fun and if I implement an actual progression system I'll keep them in mind. Stay tuned for that lewdness update! ;)
Thanks again for playing and for the review!
What does the description mean by "a perfect performance"? Is there a different ending besides the loss and "filling the pleasure bar" win ending?
Yep! I don't want to spoil it completely, but try not to let her cum too quickly and you'll know when you can get it when you see it ;)
Good luck, and thanks for playing! ^_^
Alright, good to know! By the way, can I ask how the lose condition is triggered? Is it a purely time-based thing, or related to, like, staying at low arousal/without people fucking you for too long?
There's a (unfortunately hidden due to time constraints) total number of peasants. Each time you insult 1 (every 5 insults) you get an additional 2 peasants.
The fail condition is triggered when all peasants have been spawned, and there are no more peasants on screen. In the next update there will be a clear "Remaining Peasants" UI element, and I'll likely update the logic so if she's actively serving anyone then it won't game over if there are no peasant.
I have a couple other lewd ideas I wanted to squeeze in before the deadline but couldn't. I think I'll try using the 5 days of rating to see how much further i can get this project >.>
Ah, that makes sense. I look forward to seeing what you add in the next few days!
I just KNEW someone was going to use a pillory for that jam, I didn't expect that gameplay twist though !
On a qwertz keyboard I had to swap the y and z, but that's already the azerty problem mentioned by another user.
That combined with the font and movement speed made it a bit hard, but nothing unreasonable.
Pretty neato
Happy to fulfill your expectations haha. A free use pillory was legit the first thing we thought of after the theme dropped.
We're definitely taking the feedback into consideration and plan to release an update after the rating period.
Thanks for playing and the review! ^_^
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT C LOOKING CHARACTER. I genuinly cant figure it out, i swear i have tried everything on the keyboard. Its not a c, e or l nor anything else it seems.
Heyo, sorry about the confusion. The font does seem to be a major pain point and we will update it after the rating period. As well the webgl build also seems to have the peasants moving faster than in the windows download version, which is something we'll also look to fix.
If i had to guess the letter might be a 'T' if the unsult was like 'Joithead' or something.
Hope you were still able to get some of the good stuff, and thanks for giving our game a shot! ^_^
doesn't work with azerty keyboard
Weird, sorry for that and thanks for letting me know! We'll look into that after the rating period of the Jam is over.
thank you
Is it possible to lower speed?
We'll be taking as much feedback during as possible and likely submit an update to add and fix thing. In the spirit of the Jam though we'll only update after the rating period is done
Thanks for playing! Once an update goes through i can notify you if you'd like.
